2.4 Hosts should respond promptly and professionally to booking requests and inquiries.
2.5 Hosts must comply with all local laws, property rules, and safety regulations.
2.6 Hosts must maintain appropriate insurance coverage for their property and rental activities.
3.1 Parkers should verify the suitability and location of the carpark space before booking.
3.2 Parkers must use the space only for the agreed period and in accordance with the Host’s rules.
3.3 Parkers must park responsibly and safely, respecting property and neighbors.
3.4 Parkers are expected to communicate promptly with Hosts regarding any issues or changes.
3.5 Parkers are responsible for maintaining valid vehicle insurance and complying with all traffic laws.
4.1 All bookings must be made through the Bookmate platform to ensure security and eligibility for support and refunds.
4.2 Users must pay all fees and charges promptly as specified in the booking details.
4.3 Any payment issues or unauthorized charges must be reported immediately to Bookmate support.
5.1 Users should report any suspicious activity, fraudulent listings, or breaches of these guidelines to support@bookmate.co.nz.
5.2 Disputes between users should be resolved amicably or escalated to Bookmate support if necessary.
6.1 Users must not list spaces they do not own or have authority to rent.
6.2 The platform must not be used for illegal activities or to facilitate unlawful parking.
6.3 Attempts to bypass platform fees or payment processing are prohibited.
6.4 Posting misleading, false, or offensive content is forbidden.
7.1 Users must prioritize safety when using or renting carpark spaces.
7.2 Bookmate is not responsible for any damage, theft, or injury occurring on or related to carpark spaces.
7.3 Users are responsible for their own insurance and risk management.
8.1 Violations of these guidelines may result in warnings, suspension, or termination of your Bookmate account.
8.2 Serious or repeated violations may be reported to law enforcement or relevant authorities.
